Amoeboesis is a diseases which is caused by Entamoeba histolytica in intestine. It is type of gastroenteritis that generally effects people with poor hygiene, especially in developing countries. It is a contagious disease and they can pass the disease through stool. In Ayurveda Amoeboesis is called amayukta pravahika. Ayurvedic treatment for Amoebic Dysentry is based upon the eradication of the infection from the body and maintenance of the inner layer of the intestines. In Ayurveda there are many herbs and herbal and poly herbal medicines which are very effective to treat Amoeboesis. A unique herbal formulation of five herbs- Kutaja, Bael and Indrajav which possesses a multi-dimensional approach to control and cure dysentery (Pravahika).
